I did an interesting interview for the Guardian this week about napping at work. Some smaller companies are following in the footsteps of Google and Nestle and allowing time for employees to take a snooze during the work day to improve productivity. Although in theory this sounds great, it could signal the rise of insomnia, especially for those already prone to poor sleep. The effect of a nap is to take the edge off our sleep drive so it could make it harder to nod off at night time. Here is a link to the full article.
