There’s nothing quite like a good night’s sleep. In fact, it’s essential to our health and wellbeing, but sometimes it can feel easier said than done and we all know the impact of losing a night’s sleep. The good news is, if you feel like this then you can cure your insomnia, without pills!
My name is Kathryn and I work with adults who suffer from Insomnia by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-i). CBT-i is a structured programme, which helps you to identify, and replace the thoughts and behaviours that are maintaining poor sleep with habits that promote sound sleep. Unlike sleeping pills, CBT-i will help you to overcome the underlying causes of your sleep problem.
I will also help you to learn clinically proven CBT techniques to manage stress/anxiety, which may be impacting upon your sleep.
CBT-i is recommended by the NHS as the most effective, non- medical treatment for long term insomnia and around 80-90% of people report improved sleep after just six weeks.
